Juice Solid State Lithium BMS
All marine installations of Juice Solid State Lithium batteries must include an external Juice Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS collects data from the batteries to manage key functions and transmit information to the Juice Touch Screen display, providing a clear interface for monitoring your battery system.
Many countries enforce marine electrical standards for lithium-ion battery installations. In Australia and New Zealand, these are defined by AS/NZS 3004.2:2014. The Juice BMS includes the features necessary to comply with these standards.
One Juice BMS is required per battery bank. It supports up to 16 batteries in parallel or up to 4 in series.
The BMS includes outputs for a battery load contactor, charge relays, and a genset start relay. It also features optional analogue and digital inputs. Additionally, it offers NMEA 2000 output to integrate with third-party systems and displays.
To ensure compliance with marine electrical standards, a complete Juice Solid-State Lithium Battery system includes:
- Juice Solid-State Batteries (JSSL-12120, JSSL-12200, JSSL-12250, JSSL-24240, JSSL-48120
- External Juice Battery Management System (JSSL-BMS)
- Battery Load Contactor (7700B-BSS 12V, 7702B-BSS 24V)
- Juice Touch Display (JLI-DISPLAY)
